A scale-up from the 22@ district with twelve nationalities on the payroll asked us for its year-end dinner for 90 people. We proposed a converted industrial space in Poblenou ten minutes from their offices, a food-station menu — with the menu in English and halal and vegan options built in — and a DJ party the moment dessert landed. The CEO toasted in English; the party needed no translation.
